Wamego Foundation Advisor Services Assistance

As community foundations devoted exclusively to the art and practice of charitable giving and their philanthropic missions, both the Manhattan Foundation and the Wamego Foundation can provide assistance and support to professional advisors and their clients in the charitable giving, funding and grant process by:

• Helping to identify the charitable giving interests and motivations of the Advisor’s clients and other donors;
   
• Providing assistance to the Advisor in matching client personal charitable interests with his or her financial planning and tax planning needs;
   
• Assisting the Advisor in the creation and drafting of charitable plans for clients that are fully integrated into each client’s individual major business, personal and financial requirements and decisions;
   
• Participating in the process of the explanation, development and facilitation of complex forms of philanthropy and charitable giving from beginning to end; 
   
• Sharing knowledge with Advisors and their clients regarding community needs and providing information about local communities,  agencies and programs which are available to the Manhattan foundation and the Wamego Foundation;
   
• Providing and sharing grant making experience and expertise and a broad range of administrative services that are available from the Manhattan Foundation and the Wamego Foundation and which are directly related to charitable giving; and
   
• Providing information to the Advisors and the names of various sources and program details and expertise specifically designed to achieve leveraging of their client donations and gifts with others through matching gifts and grant activities.
