Emergency Relief Fund

The Wamego Community Foundation Emergency Relief Fund was created to provide rapid and flexible support in the wake of local disasters and emergencies. Whether responding to severe weather events, fires, or other unexpected crises, this fund helps meet immediate needs and supports long-term recovery efforts for individuals, families, and communities impacted across the region.

To ensure the greatest possible impact, 100% of all donations to the Emergency Relief Fund go directly to relief efforts—no administrative fees are withheld. The fund is activated in response to specific emergencies as they arise, allowing the Foundation to work quickly and collaboratively with local partners and agencies to deliver aid where it's needed most.
