Flint Hills Messiah Chorus Fund

Each year, the Flint Hills Messiah Chorus brings George Frideric Handel’s The Messiah to life during the Easter season in Wamego, KS, uniting volunteer singers across Pottawatomie, Wabaunsee, Riley, and Shawnee counties. To elevate this annual performance, the chorus partners with a professional 21-piece chamber orchestra; funds are needed each year to pay these talented musicians. Your support helps preserve this meaningful community tradition and ensures the concert remains accessible and inspiring for all.

Founded in 1990, the Flint Hills Messiah Chorus is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit; all donations are tax-deductible. With rehearsal space and performance support generously provided by the Wamego First United Methodist Church, your contributions go directly toward the music—supporting local arts, professional musicianship, and a shared cultural experience for the entire region.
