Tough2gether Fighting Childhood Cancer Wamego Fund

Tough2gether Foundation stands with families in the fight against childhood cancer, providing vital support during some of life’s most challenging moments. Founded by Jace Ward of Wamego and his parents, Roger and Lisa Ward, during Jace’s courageous battle with DIPG—a rare and terminal brain cancer—the foundation continues his legacy by helping others navigate the difficult road of pediatric cancer. While Tough2gether has grown into a national leader in advocacy, research funding, and care coordination, its heart remains firmly rooted in supporting local and regional families.
Through its partnership with the Wamego Community Foundation, Tough2gether dedicates all locally raised funds to helping nearby families with expenses such as travel for treatment, lost income, housing and utility costs, hospital parking fees, out-of-pocket medical needs, and, when necessary, end-of-life services and memorial support. The foundation also provides emotional and logistical assistance through its LiveBrave2gether network and continues to champion systemic change through nationally recognized initiatives. With a mission to connect, question, collaborate, and cure, Tough2gether remains unwavering in its commitment to serve, because for families facing childhood cancer, every act of support can mean the world.
