Wamego Fire Department Auxiliary Expendable Fund
The Wamego Fire Department Auxiliary (WFDA) supports the Wamego Fire Department (WFD) and the community. The Auxiliary helps with everything from providing support during hospitalizations and family losses to organizing events that foster camaraderie among firefighters and their families. They also fundraise to support the department’s operational needs and community outreach efforts. The WFDA’s fundraising initiatives are focused on acquiring crucial equipment, including updated rope and water rescue gear and a complete set of power and hand tools for machine rescue.
