Boys & Girls Club of Manhattan WCF Fund

Since launching in Wamego in 2014, the Boys & Girls Club has grown significantly, serving children daily through after-school, no-school day, and summer programs. With an expansion, the Club now operates at two Wamego elementary schools, providing a safe, affordable, and enriching environment for K–5 students. The organization, part of the Boys & Girls Club of Manhattan, supports thousands of local youth, including those from single-parent, low-income, and military families, ensuring broad access through low membership fees, scholarships, and volunteer-based discounts.

Driven by its mission to help young people become productive and responsible citizens, the Club delivers critical educational support, healthy lifestyle programs, and mentorship opportunities. The organization keeps costs low for families while covering the remaining expenses through community fundraising, grants, and donations. Every dollar invested in the Club yields a community return of $9.60 in future savings and earnings, highlighting its lasting value and impact.
